Gluten free

In the United States, approximately 1% of the total population has been diagnosed with celiac disease (CD) - an auto-immune disorder triggered by gluten consumption.
For people with celiac disease, gluten enemy #1. For some celiac patients, an exposure to gluten can make them sick for days with pain, vomiting and diarrhea while causing intestinal damage.
Usually, when I am fresh out of story ideas, I simply turn on the TV to an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK).
For people living with celiac disease, everything that goes into the body has to be assessed for gluten. Even tiny amounts (trace amounts) of gluten can cause illness in some people with celiac disease.
