Anything that reminds people to get up and move is a good thing, but will they actually do it? And once the novelty wears off, do we slide back into our lazier ways?

Smartwatches are cool. They sync up with your smartphone via Bluetooth, and they have tons of features: you can access your e-mail, check the weather, and even answer calls.  But the smartwatch health apps can be a bit persistent: Stand more, walk more, exercise more... OK, mom!
